CrossFit can greatly benefit anyone, from people who have been inactive to seasoned athletes. Workouts are individually tailored (scaled) for differing levels of fitness and ability. Each participant, regardless of experience, is challenged just enough to deliver measurable results and personal athletic progress.
To set you up for a successful start at CrossFit Maitland it will be necessary for you to complete One-On-One Introductory Sessions before joining group classes. Here you will be taught how to correctly perform many of the movements you can expect to find in our program and achieve entry level benchmarks for group classes. The Intro Sessions also provide the opportunity to meet and get to know each other, to become comfortable with our coaching methods and practices, to familiarise yourself with our facility and equipment, and to provide you with other important information before starting. All of which will aid an eventual smooth transition into group classes. This is the best start for anyone new to CrossFit!
